FPAssistant SDK Update (March 2025)

Development of FPAssistant, the SDK for your aviation apps, has been progressing and below is a list of the key areas that have happened so far this year:

.NET 9.0 – Support for .NET 9 has been completed and as we only support the current .NET release and two further back then only 7, 8 and 9 are currently available in the Intel/AMD and ARM processors.

ARINC 424 Parser – A set of helpers have been improved as these were added at the end of las year; they now cover Airport, Airport Approaches and Airways. AN example of the Airport helper can be found here

Aerodromes DataStore – The ICAO code has now been added hence you can find details of an aerodrome by ICAO code as well as IATA.

Examples on GitHub – The examples are all being added to including new features from the SDK. Visit here to take a look.

NuGet – The latest version is always available here and this targets the .NET Standard 2.0 which covers a variety of platforms. Remember, if you want a specific build for a target then please email.

Blue Sky – You can follow us now on Blue Sky, click here or follow… @fpassistantsdk.bsky.social

Work will progress this year so look out for further posts here, further example additions on GitHub and on LinkedIn.

Don’t forget we offer a free basic license of the SDK that allows some initial development and we can also offer a trial period to get you access to all the API’s within the SDK.
